Can you believe the weekend is here? It’s Easter weekend. What does Easter mean to you?
To me, Easter me is not about a bunny. It’s about the cross. It’s about Jesus’ love for us and His willingness to give up His life for ours. It’s about the sacrifice He made so we could live forever with Him.
Have you ever wondered what Jesus thinking about as he died on the cross? Was he tempted to fear death? Hebrews gives us a clue in referencing Psalm 22, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?â€Â
One thing is for sure. There is no way for us  to appreciate the  horrific experience of having the sins of the world put upon the Lord Jesus as He hung in excruciating pain from that cross. The physical pain was immense.  The spiritual one must have been even greater.
This shows us clearly how much God loves us.
Enjoy spending time with your family this weekend celebrating the true meaning of Easter!
