NASHVILLE, Tenn. (4-9-10) 2009 Male Quartet of the Year, Triumphant Quartet will make their debut appearance on Trinity Broadcasting Network’s Praise The Lord television program on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 10pm EST / 7pm PST. Eric, Clayton, Scott, David and Jeff filmed the program at the Nashville, Tennessee studio several weeks ago. The quartet performed selections from their GRAMMY® nominated album, Everyday, including their current radio single, “Somebody Died For Me.â€Â They were interviewed by Jason Crabb, where they spoke about their incredible year and their exciting plans for the future. Jason Crabb hosts the two-hour show, which also features the Bowling Family, Kirk Sullivan, the Glovers and Pastor Tommy Bates.
“Triumphant was thrilled to be a part of Praise The Lord with such an amazing group of talented performers. TBN can be seen all over the world, and Triumphant is thankful for the opportunity to spread the Message to places outside our normal venues. We hope everyone enjoys the show as much as we did filming it,†commented Eric Bennett of Triumphant Quartet.
Formed in 2003, the then named Integrity Quartet began their ministry together at the Louise Mandrell Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. In 2004, the quartet signed with Daywind Records and performed “Amazing Grace†for over 100,000 people at the University of Tennessee’s homecoming game. In December of that year, after a nationwide contest to submit entries, Integrity Quartet changed their name to Triumphant Quartet. 2007 was another landmark year for the quartet. They were honored to receive the Christian Music Presenters (CMP) Artist Endorsement. They were also awarded certification as American Gospel Music (AGM) Artists. An invitation to perform in a celebration of American Gospel Music at Carnegie Hall in New York City rounded out this enormously successful year. The quartet shared the stage with other prominent gospel music artists, a 200 voice choir, and the American Festival Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Eric Dale Knapp.
