The Guardians – comprised of John Darin Rowsey, Dean Hickman and Neil Uhrig – made a guest appearance during the Gaither Homecoming concert in Huntington, WV at Big Sandy Arena on Thursday, November 13, 2014. The talented trio performed selections from their upcoming project, Let My Heart Sing.
“It was an honor to share the stage with Mr. Bill Gaither and his homecoming friends,” stated Dean Hickman. “We are grateful for the opportunity to share our music with their audience.”
The moment was a special one for group member John Darin Rowsey, a native of the city. Rowsey has written many of the popular songs that have been recorded through the years, including the now-classic, “Singing With The Saints.”
The Guardians are celebrating 25 years of music ministry. Their latest project, Let My Heart Sing, is produced by arranger extraordinaire, Lari Goss.
