Nashville, TN Award winning Southern Gospel and Bluegrass Gospel crossover artist, Tammy Jones Robinette recently thrilled crowds at Silver Dollar City with her appearances featuring her all-star band, The Drive. While at Silver Dollar City, they performed three shows to large crowds. “We met so many wonderful new friends. We are thankful to DA Callaway for allowing us to be a part of such a prestigious event,” stated Tammy Jones Robinette.
Although Tammy Jones Robinette has made a name for herself in Southern Gospel for many years, she is blazing new trails in Bluegrass Gospel Music. Her latest release to radio, “I Think I’ll Let You Drive,” is currently #2 on the Singing News Bluegrass chart. She has also been nominated in the 2016 Diamond Awards for Favorite Female Bluegrass Artist, Bluegrass Album of the Year, and for Bluegrass Gospel Group of the Year. Besides bringing her talents as a singer and songwriter to bluegrass, Tammy Jones Robinette has assembled one of the finest bands in the history of Bluegrass Gospel music. Members of The Drive who accompanied her at Silver Dollar City included Ron Block of Alison Krauss and Union Station, Clay Hess, Tim Crouch, Irl Hees, Dustin Frame, and Luke Montgomery. She also was accompanied by Chris Jones and Chelsea Jones on background vocals.
