Their annual convention draws over 2,500 moms from across the U.S. and Canada. Storyboard: Make the Most of Your Mothering August 4th 6-8:30 p.m.
MOPS is sponsoring a special one night event for all mothers the night prior to the official start of convention. This fun Moms Night Out is an opportunity for moms to create their own storyboard as a women asking the question, “Who Am I as a Mom?”. Speakers include Max Lucado, Kathi Lipp, and guest artist, Sara Groves. Tickets for this event are sold separately and are available through Itickets.com for $25.
MOPS Leaders supports Heartbeat Ministry in Nashville
MOPS Field Leadership team is participating in a service project while attending convention in Nashville. Leaders will be collecting items such as shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, soap and gift cards to support the Heartbeat Ministry in Nashville. The Heartbeat Ministry gives out food, clothing, and spiritual guidance to people in the Nashville community who are in need. This is a ministry of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church. The Heartbeat Ministry is a tangible way to help families in need in Nashville.

Aug 4-6 in Nashville, TN, at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center, nearly 2,500 volunteer leaders who help moms make vital connections with other moms will gather for training, inspiration and networking. These volunteer leaders, mothers themselves, serve several hours each month with MOPS International to facilitate MOPS groups where moms can find a support network and grow as women, mothers and leaders. The MOPS International headquarters staff works alongside these mom volunteers to provide strategic direction, leadership training and resources to equip and mobilize moms into leaders.
