Birmingham, Alabama – Crawford Broadcasting and WXJC – The Truth are excited to announce that Mickey Bell will be taking over as host of the award winning program “The Dixie Gospel Caravan” in Birmingham, AL.
For more than forty years, this show has provided listeners in central Alabamawith the sounds of Southern Gospel music. Under the helm of longtime host Wayne Wallace, the show quickly became the standard for all other shows in the industry.
“I can remember traveling with groups who would have the show playing on their bus just hoping that Waynewould play their song”, saysBell. “You knew you had made it in the industry if you appeared on the cover of the Singing News, played on center stage at the National Quartet Convention and were interviewed by Wayne Wallace on the Dixie Gospel Caravan.”
