Today we celebrate the birthday of one of Gospel music’s favorite sopranos, Karen Peck Gooch. Â Karen has been singing professionally for about 30 years, Â since her days with the LeFevres. Now with New River, more of her family is involved and she is making even more friends and fans.
Karen’s voice and look is timeless, although her award-winning music is always ahead of its time.
The Gooch family has had a challenging time as they faced Rickey’s recent battle with cancer. The Gospel music family came together in prayer and we are so thankful that Rickey is experiencing the healing hand of God.
Thank you Karen for sharing your soaring vocals and sweet personality with us for so many years.
