On December 8, 2007, the lives of Josh & Ashley Franks would forever change. They exchanged wedding vows and begin immediately to travel and minister full-time as a husband/wife duo.
In the last several years they have welcomed in two precious children. Priscilla, age four, and Eli, 22 months old. The Franks family has traveled approximately 180-200 days per year for the last seven years.
The last couple of years of ministry have been an incredible journey. The last three radio singles sent out have all charted in the Singing News Magazine Top 80. They have performed at such prestigious events such as: Singing in the Sun, Myrtle Beach, SC; Karen Peck & New River Homecoming, Dahlonega, GA; and Jackson Sings the Gospel, Jackson, TN.
It seems the journey has only begun but with a slightly different turn. For several months the Lord had been dealing with Josh and Ashley about a new season in their lives.
On May 10, 2015 the Franks accepted the call to return home to become the interim Pastor at People’s Tabernacle Church, 64 Airways Blvd, Savannah, TN; hometown of the Franks and the church that Josh grew up in. After the last four months of fulfilling the role and much prayer and consideration, the church has unanimously elected them to become the Lead/Senior Pastor.
A chapter has closed but a new chapter has begun and the days of traveling are not over. The family plans to continue to travel during the week and on a more limited basis. They will be in their home church on most Sundays to serve.
The Franks are already scheduled to appear on several of Gospel Music’s leading events for the remainder of 2015 and 2016 including: Tony Gore’s Dinner on the Ground concert series, Sevierville, TN; Bill Bailey’s Fall Jubilee, Waldo, FL; Gospel Music Winter Convention, Palmetto, FL; Gospel Music Weekend, Oak Grove, LA; Memorial Day Weekend at Indian Creek Baptist Church, Carnesville, GA;  and Gospel Music Summer Jubilee, Bean Blossom, IN.
As they begin this next season your prayers are appreciated. For more information regarding the Franks Family or People’s Tabernacle Church, visit www.joshandashleyfranks.com .
