Rowsey – who traveled with the award-winning trio Karen Peck and New River from 1999-2003 – has been nominated for multiple Dove Awards and has won one, for the 2008 Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year with “He’s In Control.†He has had numerous hit songs, with one of the earliest being the Gaither Vocal Band’s “Singing with the Saints.†Among his No. 1 songs are Karen Peck and New River’s “I Wanna Know How It Feels†and “Hey†and the Kingsmen’s “Joy’s Gonna Come in the Morning.â€
Rowsey is also currently a member of the dynamic vocal trio Watts, Rowsey and Bean, which is part of the Daywind Records roster of artists.
