The next 10-11 days are going to be extremely busy for me, and so I thought I would send this email out while I had a quick moment. Tomorrow morning, I will head to Fitzgerald, GA for a special night with the Hoppers and the Guardians. This concert did not have a lot of advance notice, and so we need everyone’s help in spreading the word. The following are the details:

Doors open at 6:30pm, and all seating is general admission
We also still have six seats on the “Fall Bus Tour to Pigeon Forge and the National Quartet Convention”. We leave from Happy Gospel Church in Bradenton, FL this Sunday, September 27th at 1pm. We will also have several desginated pickup points along I-75 for our passengers from other areas. This is a wonderful trip that includes three nights of the NQC featuring all of your favorite southern gospel artists like the Booth Brothers, Collingsworth Family, Triumphant Quartet, Ivan Parker, Guy Penrod, Perrys, Hoppers, Kingdom Heirs, Greater Vision, Legacy Five, and many more! NQC is a gospel music lover’s dream come true! Our meals include the world famous Apple Barn and Tony Gore’s Restaurant. The complete itinerary and details is on the graphic at the end of this email. If you’d like to go with us, call right away at (941) 756-6942. We can still get you on the tour, but you need to make your reservation quickly.
Back here at Happy Gospel Church, I will be ministering in both morning services this Sunday, September 27th – 9am at HGC@TheRanch and11am at HGC@Bradenton. Then at 6pm, we welcome Pastor Wendell Wilson & Loving Hands Ministry (HGC@Bradenton). Loving Hands is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that God has used to set many men free. Happy Gospel is honored to be a supporter of this worthwhile ministry. The men will be sharing their testimonies as part of this service. If you know of someone struggling in addiction, invite them to this service!

In closing, our family is thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, Caleb, to his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Files. The proposal took place on Bradenton Beach this past weekend. I have to hand it to my son; he is quite the romantic! A wedding date has not been set, but will more than likely be in the fall of 2016.
