DAILEY & VINCENT PREPARE FOR IBMA AWARDS SHOW, BLUEGRASS FAN FEST AND HOMECOMING CONCERT

NASHVILLE, TENN.  (September 27, 2010)—Dailey & Vincent, currently on the road on the Dailey & Vincent Front Porch Tour supported by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store®, will be in Nashville this week for the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) World of Bluegrass business conference, IBMA Awards and Bluegrass Fan Fest.
 
The reigning two-time IBMA Entertainers of the Year, who currently grace the cover of Bluegrass Music Profiles’ September/October issue, have ten nominations heading into the 21st Annual IBMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, and Album of the Year (Dailey & Vincent Sing the Statler Brothers on Cracker Barrel/Rounder Records).  Other nominations for the Rounder Records act include Song of the Year for “Elizabeth,” from the Statler Brothers tribute disc; Male Vocalist of the Year (Jamie Dailey); Bass Player of the Year (Darrin Vincent); Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year for “Don’t You Wanna Go to Heaven” from the duo’s a cappella CD, Singing From the Heart; and Recorded Event of the Year for “Give This Message to Your Heart,” from Larry Stephenson’s 20th Anniversary CD.  Additionally, Dailey & Vincent Sing the Statler Brothers received a nod for Best Graphic Design for a Recorded Project, while Singing From the Heart was honored with a nomination for Best Liner Notes for a Recorded Project.
 
Dailey & Vincent will perform on the IBMA Awards show, hosted by Jerry Douglas and Sharon and Cheryl White, which will take place at the Ryman Auditorium on September 30 at 7:30 p.m.  They will also perform during Bluegrass Fan Fest at the Nashville Convention Center on Friday, October 1, at 7:20 p.m.  IBMA Awards show tickets are available by calling the Ryman box office at 615-889-3060.  Tickets for Bluegrass Fan Fest, scheduled for October 1-3 and featuring over 60 acts, are available at the convention center entrance on Commerce Street beginning Friday morning.
 
On Friday, October 1, Jamie and Darrin will meet fans and sign copies of their CD’s in the store at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum® at 11:00 a.m. as part of the museum’s festivities tied in with IBMA week.
 
On Tuesday, September 28, Jamie and Darrin, along with their manager, publicist, attorney and Rounder Records executive Ken Irwin, will participate in a panel during the World of Bluegrass business conference to discuss the importance of team-building to an artist’s career development.
 
Wednesday, September 29, will find Dailey & Vincent in Granville, Ohio, for a concert at Denison University’s Swasey Chapel.
 
The week wraps up with Dailey & Vincent’s inaugural Homecoming Concert at the Jackson County High School Football Field in Gainesboro, Tennessee, on Saturday, October 2, at 5:00 p.m.  Tickets are $15, and all proceeds go toward the newly formed Dailey & Vincent Helping Hands Fund, administered through the Cookeville Regional Medical Center Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.  The fund benefits underprivileged children in Jackson and DeKalb Counties in Tennessee.  For tickets and information about the concert, visit www.daileyvincent.com.
