Yesterday our hearts were saddened by the news of Debbie Paul being involved in a fatal automobile accident.
Today, we continue to pray for the family as they mourn the death of an earthly angel.

Debbie began singing with her family, The Gambills, at the tender age of five years old. Brian Paul joined the family group after his marriage to Debbie in 1986. In 2005, Brian and Debbie launched The Paul Family ministry with their three children. Since that time, The Paul Family has toured the nation sharing the Gospel as Southern/Bluegrass Gospel artists.
Throughout their career The Paul Family has released numerous recordings, many which features original songs penned by Debbie. In addition to her artistry as a pianist and vocalist for her family group Debbie has enjoyed success as a songwriter, with her songs being recorded by other major artists including The Perrys and Gold City.
The Paul Family has graced stages across America, performing in churches and at fairs, festivals, and conventions on major events. Their tours also included numerous radio and TV appearances.
The Paul Family has received numerous award nominations. They were voted ‘New Excelling Artist’ in the 2011 Gospel Music Fan Awards and received the ‘Bluegrass Artist of the Year’ by the Southeastern Gospel Music Conference in 2012.
But Debbie’s greatest reward was being able to stand alongside her family, sharing her passion for music and her love for Christ with audiences everywhere. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on through her children.
Debbie was loved and respected by her Gospel music peers and fans alike. The Gospel music community has lost another precious servant, but Heaven has gained another sweet angel.
