About Satellites & Sirens
The band was formed in a unique way in 2006, when lead singer Geoff Hunker developed the group through ads on Craigslist. Hunker was eventually joined by Jonathan Dimmel (drums), David Troyer (guitar), and Dave Willey (bass/synth) and the band quickly bonded as friends and musicians and honed their skills with live performances. The group signed with Word Records in 2008 and the label released two EPs on Satellites & Sirens in 2009 before releasing the debut self-titled CD in March 2010. One more EP followed in May 2010. The new album was greeted with a strong response as MTV featured the band as its “Needle In The Haystack†spotlight artist last summer. Satellites & Sirens continues an active tour schedule and connecting with their numerous fans across the country. For more information on the group please visit, www.satelliteandsirens.com.
