 Sharps Chapel, TN- Chapel Valley is very excited to announce the signing of the high energy quartet, City On A Hill. During this year’s NQC talent show, they were ranked the #1 quartet in the competition.

This group which consists of Derrick Wood, David Verret, Rick Williams, and John Jump enjoys sharing the Lord through the music that God has given to them. Along with traveling, they are also involved in their local church, South County Christian Center where David has been the Administrative Pastor since 2000.

City On A Hill often sings with their talented live band. “Many groups don’t usually bring a band with them anymore. However, when we can bring them we find that folks still love that live sound,” states Derrick.

Richard Hyssong of Chapel Valley knows that this talented quartet will be a group to watch. They have an exciting future and we as a company are looking forward to being a part of it.

 The quartet will be involved in many of the SonShine promoted events and will be at NQC in 2011. City On A Hill will be in the studio starting their first recording with Chapel Valley in January with an early Summer release date. One of the songs already chosen has been written by their Pastor, Shawn Craig, who is also a member of Phillips Craig and Dean. The group appreciates the support, mentoring, and encouragement of their Pastor.
