Nashville, TN: Canaan’s Crossing is quickly becoming a fan favorite. With deep roots in both Southern Gospel and Bluegrass, they are helping to bridge the gap between both styles of music. In 2009, Canaan’s Crossing performed at an afternoon showcase at NQC and was selected as one of the few groups that got the opportunity to appear on the main stage for an evening performance. Evidently, that performance made an impression with fans everywhere because radio has taken a liking to Canaan’s Crossing. This year at NQC during the Front Porch Fellowship Awards, sponsored by Solid Gospel Radio’s Front Porch Fellowship Awards Show, Canaan’s Crossing won Bluegrass Artist of the Year and their recent radio hit, “Dying to Live Again†won Song of The Year. According to Song Garden Music Group V.P., David Staton, “It’s amazing to see how quickly Canaan’s Crossing is being accepted! One year, they are performing at NQC for the first time and in 2 years they are accepting awards for their work. We are proud to have them on Song Garden.â€
