This past year has been a banner year for the ministry of Josh & Ashley Franks. They have shared there ministry in Myrtle Beach, SC along side of world known Pastor/Evangelist, Dr. John Hagee in front of sold-out crowd during the Singing In The Sun. The Southern Gospel Music Association selected Josh to serve on the advisory board of directors. Ashley released her first ever, self titled solo recording. Gospel radio has picked up their music recently and their last 3 radio releases has charted in the Singing News Magazine, the printed voice of Gospel Music. In the mist of all of this, Josh has co-partnered in promoting the annual Jackson, TN Gospel sing held each July, as well as promoting several of his own JAF promotions events. One of the events is the annual Josh and Ashley Franks Hometown Sing. “Due to our travel schedule, this gives us a chance to sing in front of our ‘hometown’ family and friends in which we don’t get to do as often as we like.” states Josh Franks. “This year we have scheduled a super line-up of friends as special guest. In the past, we have done two nights, but this year we wanted to do, one big super southern gospel night”. Special guest will include Karen Peck and New River, who is a 3-time Grammy Award Nominated and 3-time GMA Dove Award Winning Southern Gospel Group. New River has firmly established their place at the forefront of Southern Gospel Music. Another forefront and guest for the Hometown Sing will include, the Kingsmen Quartet. For the last 5 decades, the Kingsmen have been anchored by 2008 Southern Gospel Hall of Fame inductee, Ray Dean Reese and currently have the number one song in the nation ‘Oh Yes I Am’. Rounding out the special evening will include, the Perrys. Both fans and peers alike have recognized the Perrys for their talent and hard work repeatedly by honoring Libbi Perry Stuffle as Favorite Female Vocalist, as well as Favorite Alto Singer. The entire group is distinguished known as America’s Favorite Mixed Quartet. The Hometown Sing is set for Saturday March 14 at the Hardin County High School Auditorium in Savannah, TN. The concert will begin at 6:00pm and doors will open at 5:00pm. For additional information visit www.joshandashleyfranks.com
