Lucas Jay White, 30, of Kernersville, NC, went peacefully to be with the Lord Sunday, June 28, 2015, at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.
Luke White was known most for his love of Gospel Music, traveling on and off the road for years with several well known Gospel groups, working in the areas of Management and Promotion. He also traveled and ministered for years at churches and events alongside his sister, Olivia White Jarrell, her husband Joshua Jarrell, as well as various musicians.
He made Gospel Music his career being employed with IMC Management of Johnson City, TN. He served as an event reservation coordinator and scheduling agent for IMC Artists and events. He also served as the scheduling agent for TaRanda Greene Ministries.
Luke is survived by his parents, Phillip and Rhonda White of Kernersville, NC, his sister, Olivia White Jarrell, her husband Josh Jarrell, and a nephew Jase Jarrell, also from Kernersville, NC. He is survived as well by a step-brother James Phillip White, a grandmother, Lucille Tilley, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and special friends like TaRanda Greene and her two daughters Josie and Bella.
Visitation for the family will be held Wednesday, July 1st from 6 to 9 pm at the North Pointe Church in High Point, NC. The Homegoing Celebration will be held Thursday, July 2nd at 12 noon, also at the North Pointe Church. Burial will follow.
