MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – (April 3, 2012) – The internet’s largest e-zine for all things Gospel Music, AbsolutelyGospel.com and Sirius XM’s enLighten Radio are partnering together to bring the 2012 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards Celebrationto the satellite radio community.
In addition to the live internet stream set for the evening of the awards, Sirius XM’s enLighten will be recording the event and broadcasting the awards celebration the following weekend on its station.

The broadcast times for the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards Celebration are as follows:
Friday evening, April 13th @ 8:00 PM ET
Saturday evening, April 14th @ 9 PM ET
Sunday afternoon, April 15th @ 4 PM ET
Sirius XM’s enLighten can be heard all over North America on Sirius XM Channel 18 and Dish TV Channel 6018.
The final list of performers for the AGM Awards was announced last month. It was announced that this year’s performers would include The Isaacs, Karen Peck & New River, Gold City, The Perrys, The Bowling Family, Sisters, Three Bridges, Tribute Quartet, Wilburn & Wilburn, Southern Sound, Beyond the Ashes, and Mark209. In addition, Jeff & Sheri Easter are spearheading a multi-artist tribute to a legend in the Gospel music industry (like the 2010 tribute to The Singing Cookes).
Karen Peck Gooch will also be performing “Mighty High†from the Joyful Noise soundtrack with an all-star choir made up of multiple nominees in this year’s Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. The choir will include members from The Isaacs, Sisters, The Perrys, Mark209, Jeff & Sheri Easter, and other independent artists like Sunday Edition, Bev McCann, Jennifer Wilkerson, and more!
The hosts for this year’s Awards Celebration of two of the industry’s most respected female voices and personalities. This year’s hosts are Karen Peck Gooch (Karen Peck & New River) and Sonya Isaacs Yeary (The Isaacs).
The date for this year’s Absolutely Gospel Music Awards Celebration is Tuesday, April 10, 2012. The event will again take place at the River of Life Church in Smyrna, Tennessee and is free to the public.
