BRANSON, Mo. – YMR Music Productions, LLC. Is proud to announce that the 2010 Branson Gospel Music Convention will once again come together with local media to push the event.
Like last year, the Branson GMC will partner with MorningSide and the Jim Bakker Show throughout the week of the event. The Jim Bakker Show will feature many of the performing artists featured at the popular concert event – including names like the Chuck Wagon Gang, HisSong, McMillan & Life, and Hinson Revival.
Kelly Burton, Program Director for the Branson Gospel Music Convention said, “The great people of MorningSide embraced us from our start in 2009. They have a rich legacy of evangelism through many means, including song, and we are grateful for the chance to work with them again.â€
In addition, MorningSide and the Branson Gospel Music Convention will be joining together for a special Friday evening concert on June 25, 2010 that will feature Branson’s Marcey Wall, Hinson Revival and additional artists yet to be confirmed. This concert will precede the week-long event in order to give it an extra boost in local awareness.
New this year, the convention will be the sole subject of DJ Karen Berka’s “Branson Radio Live†show at the Little Opry Theatre on Sunday, June 27, 2010. Berka’s weekly Sunday program draws a studio audience of over 200 people and a listening audience via KBFL 99.9 FM and 1060 AM, as well as the Branson Radio Live stream from the show’s website.
“We’re so excited to be working with strong local partners who share our enthusiasm to share the Gospel in Branson,” mentioned YMR Production’s Rod Burton. “Karen has generously embraced Branson GMC and hers is a natural outlet to showcase Gospel artists who may not have seen the Branson audience before.
Berka will kick off Branson GMC week by featuring interviews with and songs by select artists on her stage at the IMAX Entertainment complex in Branson.
