{EHA-Nashville,TN} CMA Fan Fair week offered golden opportunities for major country artists to perform for fans. The
crowd also appeared at the longest-running Gospel show affiliated with CMA at the Grand Ole Opry. The 32nd Annual “Sunday Mornin’ Country” Gospel concert produced by MCCF’s industry veteran and former Heehaw star, Joe Babcock, featured country legends and paid tribute to their contributions to Gospel music. Becky Short of the Washington, MO based, Davis Family, was a member of the Country Chorale who backed up these legends on the Opry stage this month: Roy Clark, Jimmy Fortune, T. Graham Brown, Marty Raybon, Jean Shepard, George Hamilton IV, The Nashville Edition, The Babcocks, Charlie McCoy, and a host of Gospel recording artists, including: Beyond the Ashes, Bev McCann, Melanie Walker, Casey Rivers, and Lulu Roman, along with legendary Nashville musicians. Becky Short was the 2nd runner-up in the 2010 His Choice Music Talent Search in Branson, MO. Her travels have taken her across the country with her family group and she signs with Thunder River Records this summer for her freshman solo project.
