{EHA-Nashville, TN} Wendy and Tony Word have experienced much success with their latest single release, “What’s Wrong with Doing Right, †and fans in the Louisville, Ky area are looking forward to their appearance in the Feb. 19th Winter Fest Gospel concert at Gethsemane Baptist Church. The concert is a joint promotion between EHA-Nashville and Louisville based, Eyewitness.
Wendy and Tony’s single was released on the Crossroads March Sampler and peaked at #49 on the Singing News charts in August. The popular duet, Wendy Word + forgiven, has garnered nominations and exposure from GMA Dove Awards, Diamond Awards, and other Christian Country and Southern Gospel outlets and charts.
Wendy’s heart for the ministry and her mission to “encourage people to just do the right thing,†was the driving force for her inspiration to write the popular single that has made its way to the speakers of airport terminals across the country. This dynamic duo proved to be fan favorites in the 2010 Diamond Awards, with final positions in three categories: Duet of the Year, Christian Country Group of the Year, and Female Artist of the Year (for Wendy’s contributions in Christian Country.)
