Signal Mountain, TNÂ Â One of the most requested episodes of Harmony Road TV, “It’s a Harmony Road Christmas,” is scheduled to air during the next 2 weeks. Taped live inside a cabin at Jim Oliver’s Smokehouse in Monteagle, Tennessee, the program features performances from Caanan’s Crossing, Randy and Sheri Miller, and John R. Bowman, along with Troy Engle.
The episode also features touching Christmas memories from several of the artists, as well as host Les Butler reading the Christmas story from the Book of Luke.
“This special program is different from previous episodes in that it’s taped in front of a live audience, and is totally acoustic. It was a special evening full of great music and storiesâ€, said Roger Spears, Harmony Road producer. “Since the program first aired, we have received many positive comments, and several requests to re air this special program.”
Music on the program include classic carols and newer songs including “New Kid in Town,” “Away in a Manger,” and “Tennessee Christmas.”
Allan Rhodes did the camerawork and editing for the program. Bill Lord assisted with sound, and Ivy and Nathan Swann provided still photos. The staff at Jim Oliver’s Smokehouse assisted with the location.
