BELL BUCKLE, Tenn. (September 1, 2016) – Russ and Tori Taff are throwing a big party, and you are invited! Russ and Tori Taff’s Bell Buckle Weekend promises to be a weekend full of fun, food, fellowship and music. The historic town of Bell Buckle, TN will welcome Christian music fans from all across the globe during the inaugural event, held October 8-9, 2016.
Special musical guests Bart Millard (MercyMe), Michael Tait (Newsboys), Ashley Cleveland, Angela Primm, Joseph Habedank, and Reba Rambo-McGuire and Dony McGuire will fill the air with songs of inspiration during two concerts to be held at the Bell Buckle Banquet Hall during the weekend.
An ‘up close and personal’ meet and greet in Russ and Tori’s front yard complete with a front-porch mini concert will be included with the purchase of the weekend package, and is sure to be a highlight of the weekend. Bell Buckle is known for their arts and crafts, and though their annual Webb School Craft Show (which draws over 100,000 people to the tiny town of 450) will be held the following weekend after Russ and Tori’s event, there will be a sneak preview offered on Saturday. Plein air artists will set up their easels all over town and paint in the open air, as well as various artisans of all kinds – jewelry makers, blacksmiths, weavers, mixed media artists – demonstrating their skills and offering items for sale. And don’t miss the antique malls, specialty shops, boutiques, and delicious restaurants!
A few years ago, Russ and Tori Taff decided they needed a change from the hustle and bustle of Nashville. Tori had discovered Bell Buckle almost 30 years ago, and it became her day-trip destination of choice. “Something has always drawn me to this town,†Tori says. “I can’t explain it, but every time I visited, it felt like I was home.†Russ and their two daughters Maddie Rose and Charlotte fell under the Bell Buckle spell as well, and when they moved here 3 years ago the town received them with equally warm and open arms. “We are so excited about sharing the charm and beauty of small-town Tennessee with all of our friends and fans,†Russ says. “And what better way to do that than to throw a two-day celebration full of good ol’ Southern cooking and the best gospel music on the planet!â€
