Dahlonega, Georgia (March 18, 2016) Karen Peck & New River collectively and individually received six top ten nominations for the 2016 Singing News Awards. Their group nominations are for Mixed Group, Song of the Year for “Pray Now†written by Karen Peck Gooch, Dave Clark, and Michael Farren, and Album of the Year Pray Now produced by Wayne Haun.
Individually the top ten nominations went to Kari Gooch, for the first time as Favorite Young Artist, Susan Peck Jackson for Favorite Alto, and Karen Peck Gooch as Favorite Soprano.

Continuing in the excitement Susan Peck Jackson stated, “I am thankful and honored to be nominated in the top ten Alto category for the Singing News Fan Awards 2016â€.
Karen Peck and New River so far this year for the album, Pray Now, has received a Dove Award for Southern Gospel Album of the Year, a Grammy Award nomination for Best Roots Gospel Album as well as receiving nine nominations in the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards.
