Spartanburg, SC – The Griffins are excited to announce Lyn Westafer as their new soprano vocalist. Westafer is a concert artist, vocal coach and worship leader and has been singing professionally for more than twenty-five years. Westafer earned an Emmy nomination for her performance of “One Solitary Life†in San Diego, California.
Westafer is no stranger to Southern Gospel and performed main stage at the National Quartet Convention while traveling with the Rick Webb Trio. She also sang for three years with Derric Johnson’s Re’Generation.
Westafer has four albums to her credit including one with Brentwood Music. She has also recorded many commercial jingles, including one for McDonald’s. She has shared the stage with Dino, Pat Boone, Selah, and Point of Grace to name a few. She also had the privilege of singing a duet with Larnell Harris and once opened for Reba McEntyre. She has also had the privilege of leading worship for Dr. David Jeremiah’s Holy Land Tour.
Lyn has been a guest speaker and worship leader for Christian women’s events and retreats from coast to coast, including many of the “Women of Joy†and “Women Nicaragua†conferences.

Westafer will make her official debut’ with The Griffins at Abraham Productions Gatlinburg Gathering Artists Showcase. This event will be held August 19th – 22nd, 2015 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
