Pigeon Forge, TN- While singing in Pigeon Forge over the weekend, award winning vocalist, Shellem Cline and his wife Lacy took in a show at “The Comedy Barn.” Cline was chosen to be a part of the comedy performance by playing the hero in the last segment of the show. Once the cast learned that Cline was an award winning Gospel Artist, Cline was asked to perform a tune for the packed out house.
Cline, along with the Comedy Barn house band, performed the chorus of the hymn “How Great Thou Art.” After performing the tune, Cline finished the program with his acting abilities and brought a lot of laughs to the audience.
“It was quite an experience,” Cline stated, “I absolutely loved having another opportunity to bring a smile to faces from across the United States.”
After the show Cline’s new fans gathered around for more information on the artist, and Cline even signed a few autographs for Gospel Music fans. Cline stated, “You never when God will open a door. He allowed me to do two things that I love, singing and making people laugh, and it happened in a unique scenario. He allowed me to plant a seed that I hope will change someone’s life.”
A video of the performance will be uploaded to Shellem’s website, www.shellemcline.com, later this week. For more information on Shellem and his ministry, visit www.shellemcline.com.
