Daywind Music Publishing Presents New Christmas Musical

(Hendersonville, Tennessee) Daywind Music Publishing proudly presents a new Christmas musical, THAT’S WHERE THE STORY BEGINS. Three of Christian music’s most successful songwriters, Gerald Crabb, Dave Clark and Mike Harland collaborated to re-tell the Christmas story. Suitable for choirs of all sizes, THATS WHERE THE STORY BEGINS includes stirring narration as well as wonderful new songs and familiar carols arranged and orchestrated by Camp Kirkland, Marty Hamby and Cliff Duren. The 30 minute musical captures the joyful announcement of the Messiah’s birth, and also tells how and why He became flesh to dwell among humanity.

Regarding the writing process, Clark stated, “Anytime I write with someone new for the first time, there is an inherent nervous. Because I am such a fan of Gerald Crabb and Mike Harland, I really wanted the process to go well. From our first ‘hello’ it just felt like all three of us were on the same page.”

Harland continued, THAT’S WHERE THE STORY BEGAN is the most unique writing experience of my entire career. For three writers to wrap around a single idea and then put it all together like this is a real God story! This is His story- and ours! And it is a real honor to tell it with Gerald and Dave.”

Clark added, “Looking back, I don’t remember much about the actual writing because it came together effortlessly. I doubt it’s because we’re that good of writers. You have to be a pretty bad writer to mess up a story that good. It is an amazing story- God sent His only Son from heaven to earth because somehow He thought we were worth saving. Now that will sing!”

Crabb commented “I have always wanted to write a Christmas musical, and what could be better than being teamed up with the best- Mike Harland and Dave Clark? I am very grateful to Daywind and Lifeway for giving me this opportunity and I’m also very pleased with the outcome. I pray that many hearts will be touched and lives will be forever changed.”
