Award winning singer/songwriter Shellem Cline along with his wife Lacy have announced the gender of their baby. The Cline’s announced via a family “gender reveal party” Tuesday night that the two are expecting a little girl in October, 2015. Cline, who has had continuous success within Christian music, wrote a song as a prelude to the announcement that had many of the guest in tears.
After the song, the two sprayed silly string that was pink to announce the gender of the baby. Cline stated after the party that “I have always wanted a little girl, and who knows one day you may see her singing right beside her daddy!” The two have not yet picked out a name for the new family member, but did say they have contemplated some and will release the information as soon as they decide. Cline is also expected to release the song that was performed at the party at a later date.
