Nashville, TN – September 9, 2010 – The Liberty XPO & Symposium, being held September 9th & 10th at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, has announced the addition of two additional nationally known voices to their impressive roster of speakers.
Â
Victoria Hearst, founder of Praise Him Ministries, and Nonie Darwish, founder of
Arabs For Israel and Director of Former Muslims United, will both participate as speakers in the Friday (10th) schedule of major events.
Â
Victoria Hearst, whose grandfather, William Randolph Hearst, established the Hearst Media Corporation, is herself the founder of Colorado based Praise Him Ministries and an emerging voice on the national level for ‘faith and values’ issues in America. Well informed on the issue of Israel in today’s political climate, she is studied on both the biblical and cultural-historical perspectives of the Middle East. A long time benefactor to the city of Ariel in biblical Samaria, she is dedicated through the work of her organization to helping the Jewish people who are displaced from their home in Gaza. Her weekly radio program, Praise Him, focuses on informing America of our country’s moral and spiritual duties of supporting Israel, and the importance of a return to God in our nation.
Â
Egyptian-born Nonie Darwish is a human rights activist, and an outspoken expert on the subject of Islamic terrorism and the global sociological threat of Sharia Law. She is the founder of Arabs for Israel, and the Director of Former Muslims United. A former Middle East journalist, born and raised a Muslim in the heart of the Arab-Israel conflict, she suffered the loss of her father who was heralded as a ‘martyr’ in the jihad against Israel. Now a committed Christian and supporter of Israel, she is dedicated to educating globally on the truth about the radical motivations behind Islam and the destructive cultural forces of Sharia Law. Her books, Now They Call Me Infidel, and Cruel and Usual Punishment, both released in the U.S., have been widely acclaimed.
Â
The Liberty XPO & Symposium has a stated mission of ‘giving patriots the tools they need to preserve liberty.’ Classes will be hosted by some of the nation’s most well-respected grassroots organizations, including Declaration Alliance, American Majority, The 912 Project, Cato Institute and many more.
