1 What was your favorite dish yesterday?
I actually have 2 favorites. Mom makes the best Mac’n’Cheese and biscuits in the world. Being on the road since I was born, I’ve eaten at more homecomings than I have time to count. At those homecomings I’ve eaten lots of biscuits and Mac’n’Cheese, but my Momma still makes the best.
2 Did you watch any sports?
I did not. Which is a little unusual, because we usually make it a point to catch the game on Thanksgiving.
3 Did you watch the Macy’s Day Parade? No, it gets a little tedious for me. I know lots of people love it, but it’s not really my “glass of tea”.

4 Does your family have a tradition on thanksgiving that is special to your family?
We do, and it’s one that Emma and I are particularly fond of. Mom and Dad have gone to get a live Christmas tree together since they started dating (Almost 30 years ago). It’s a tradition they have continued thru the years, and it’s one that Emma and I plan to continue with our families in years to come.
5 Tell us a few of the things that you are thankful for in 2014?
This year has been so amazing. It’s been a year of blessing and opportunity. It’s also been a year of lessons for me. I’m learning slowly the importance of patience, and that His timing is far better than my own. We’ve seen an increase in souls and in opportunities to share His message thru our music. I’m thankful for my family, my friends, the sweet people who support this amazing music we all love, and for my God; who allows me to continue to do what I love.
