NASHVILLE, TN (November 13, 2013) – The recording studio has become a creative second homefor Doug Anderson, and for good reason. He’s been putting the finishing touches on his highly-anticipated sophomore CD release, “Drive,” on StowTown
Records. After winning the GMA/Dove Award for “Country Album of the Year” in 2012 for his debut solo recording, being named “Male Vocalist of the Year” (Absolutely Gospel Awards), and having three Top 40 radio singles, Anderson is living the title cut — enjoying the journey, but letting God be the one to “Drive.”

With the full project releasing January 21, 2014, and the first radio single hitting the airwaves in November, 2013, Doug Anderson is keeping busy — due to his tour schedule as a featured vocalist with Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, as well as his own solo dates. Even so, the singer is just as committed to carving out quality time with his wife and two daughters. Known on social media for planning date nights or day trips, Doug was excited to find that the studio gave him a chance to build more memories with his wife. “Michele was able to be with me through the recording process which made it special for me.”
Award-winning producer Wayne Haun is again at the helm, bringing life to classics like Dolly Parton’s “The Seeker,” as well as original heartfelt ballads and contagious upbeat melodies, including “I’ll Be There with You,” “Love Covered My Sin,” and “God Works.”
Stay tuned for upcoming feature interviews with Doug Anderson on syndicated radio
programs including Paul Heil’s “The Gospel Greats,†and “Daniel Britt & Friends†on Sirius/XM (enLighten), and follow him on Twitter and Facebook for further updates during the countdown to theJanuary 21st release date.
