Elaine Peacock was diagnosed around Christmas 2009 with Stage 2 Breast Cancer through the Free Mammogram Program and June E. Nylen Cancer Center. She, unfortunately, is without health insurance, and her and Paul, have had to try to handle the cost of her treatment out of their own pocket. Elaine has had surgery, has undergone weekly chemo treatments, and is now undergoing radiation which all leaves her very tired!! Elaine’s sweet spirit has never faltered.
So her friends are rallying around her to help raise the money that is needed for her medical bills to try to make this time easier on Elaine and Paul. The benefit will be Sunday, August 15, at St. Peter’s Community Center
in Jefferson, SD from 1 to 5 pm
We (her friends) are having a Fund Raiser for Elaine — that’s where you come in. We need auction items to auction. Anything BIG or small is greatly Appreciated! We need people to attend and support Elaine! Elaine also continues to need your love and prayers!!
At the Fund Raiser there will be Homemade Pie and Ice Cream (free will offering), Live Entertainment, the Auction, and square dancing to follow!
